| GUIDE TO PHOTOGRAPHIC REQUIREMENTS
The results we can produce for you are partly dependant on the original you submit to us. Please read through these notes before proceeding with photographing your freshly-caught fish.
- Find a white surface on which on which to lay your fish. We need a white background around the entire edge of the fish. Our suggestions:
• A large sheet of wooden board painted white
• A sheet of white formica or similar kitchen surface
• A white plastic table cloth
• A white linen sheet (may have to be washed afterwards!)
• A large format sheet of paper (not reusable)
- Lay your white surface on the ground so that you can hover directly above it with your camera. It is important that the 'plain' of the camera (think of it as the film sheet about to be exposed) and the plain of your white background surface are parallel all round. That is, both are perfectly flat.
- For digital cameras, choose the medium resolution setting. Depending on your brand of digital camera, it will be about 3 megabytes in size with pixel dimensions of 2048 x 1536 suitable for printing A4 sized standard photo prints. Take a look at standard Sony resolutions.

All you need do is send us a high-resolution photo of the fish in question. See our guide to what resolution is required. You also need to send us your name, the weight, the date and location of the famed catch. We will use that information as the credit or signature.
You also need to send us information on the length of the fish - from nose to tail - so we can be sure our product is lifesize! We do not need to know girth size as we can work that out from the photo and the length.

The picture we receive from you is untouched, except perhaps for brightness and contrast settings to enhance the image. It is not artistically rendered as per most of the images produced by ArtisticMementos.com
Prices range from NZ$400 including packaging and international air freight costs. Packaging is little different to a pizza box. The size depends on your fishing skills!
